Status acquiring network address pnjra

The network shows that I am connected but I cannot get on line. The little icon in the tool tray reads wireless network connection speed 54.0 Mbps signal strength excellent status acquiring network address It seems to not find the network address. I am assuming it means the IP address. Can anyone help? If more info is needed let me know.
